Battlefield 6 Multiplayer Gameplay Video Leaks Onto YouTube

An over 10-minute video showing Battlefield 6 multiplayer gameplay has been posted to YouTube less than a week before the mode’s reveal on July 31. The channel Gaming Gameplay MinecraftTF11 (what a name) posted footage of the game running in the Battlefield Labs testing build. It’s very obviously not finished, as there are some missing elements like invisible clips in the reload animation. As of this writing, the video has yet to be taken down by EA, so you can view it below until that happens.

Battlefield 6 Multiplayer Footage Posted Early

The Battlefield 6 multiplayer gameplay video shows off a match of Conquest, the standard mode in the series that is essentially a game of Domination in Call of Duty, but to a much larger scale. It starts off with our player running towards the first available tank, clinging to its backside. We’re not necessarily war generals, but that doesn’t seem like the safest place to be when driving through a warzone, but we digress.

The first time our player dies, we see the lobby scoreboard, which shows that each team has up to 32 players, for a total of 64 in the game. The 32v32 mode seems to be pretty standard for Battlefield, but the series has experimented with 64v64 in the past. As of this writing, there is no indication if that will be available at launch for Battlefield 6, so pay attention to when the multiplayer event happens next week.

Another interesting note in death, while you are on the map choosing your next spawn point, you can actually see what your squadmates are seeing in real time. In the past, you would only have their location on the map revealed to you, and if they were in a fire fight, you were blocked out of spawning on them. Getting their viewpoint will likely give a little more info to players before they jump in, unless you’re like us and just choose the first thing available right away.

We did also get a decent look at some destructability in the environment throughout this video. Around the four-minute mark, the player launches a rocket into the side of a building and absolutely decimates that portion of it.

Overall, the Battlefield 6 multiplayer looks like it will be a good time for fans of the series. We can’t really say there is much here that really changes the formula up much at all, it just looks like another Battlefield to us, which isn’t a bad thing.
