Ultrawide OLED gaming is usually an expensive experience but the Innocn 49Q1R makes it more affordable, especially now when it’s on sale. The monitor boasts a 5120x1440p resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate.
While OLED gaming monitors are still on the expensive side, companies like Innocn are making the hardware more affordable for the masses. The 49Q1R is an example of that as it brings 49 inches of OLED goodness at a much more palatable price than alternatives from Samsung and LG. For a limited time, the gaming monitor is at an all-time low price on Amazon.
Innocn 49Q1R gaming monitor specifications and features
The gaming monitor comes with a 49-inch curved OLED panel with 5120×1440 resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. This gives the monitor a 32:9 aspect ratio, which may not be natively supported by some games, but there are usually work arounds for that. Also, a lot of recent games have been releasing with native 32:9 support. The 1800R curvature is not sufficient to truly wrap around but does a great job at filling your peripheral vision. You can also mount it on the wall or on an arm thanks to VESA 100×100 compatibility.
Being an OLED monitor, it boasts 0.03ms response times and vivid colors thanks to a sub two Delta E values and support for HDR10, as well as DisplayHDR True Black 400. Peak brightness is rated at 400 nits by Innocn. The 49Q1R also supports Adaptive Sync to help with screen tearing in games.
For connectivity, it comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB Type-C port with 90W PD and display, two USB Type-A 3.0 ports, a USB Type-B in port, and RJ45 ethernet jack. The monitor has KVM so you can have your peripherals connected to the USB ports at the back and use them with whatever device is connected. There are both PIP (picture-in-picture) and PBP (picture-by-picture) modes allowing multiple inputs at the same time.
