TUF Gaming LC III: kits with or without screen!

ASUS TUF Gaming LC III

ASUS presents two new series of all-in-one watercooling kits with aRGB and aRGB LCD ranges. What’s the difference? The presence or absence of a screen on the pump cover. Of course, there’s no originality here: it’ll be used to display .gif, .jpeg or system info related to your configuration, and that’s all there is to it. The non-LCD version will feature a simple gray cover with a TUF Gaming reminder on top.

The radiator here is quite classic, based on an aluminum construction 27 mm thick. The finish looks neat, with square edges and no visible rivets or screws.

Ventilation is provided by two or three 120 mm fans. These are pre-assembled as standard and share a single frame. In terms of their characteristics, they will operate at up to 2600 rpm, but beware of noise. Otherwise, regarding airflow, the data sheet mentions 90.78 CFM for a static pressure of 3.82 mmH2O. Connection is via two cables, one PWM and one aRGB.

In terms of assembly, the pump can be mounted on recent LGA-1700/1851 platforms and on AM4 and AM5 in AMD. It remains to be seen whether older LGA-1000s will be compatible.

As for price, the LCD models are bound to be more expensive, costing €184.90 and €174.90 in 360 and 240 mm versions respectively. Versions without screens will cost €159.90 and €154.90.
