Only a few days remain before the opening of Reno’s first Dave & Buster’s location, which is offering free games for a year to a limited number of guests.
Reno is just days away from the opening of its first Dave & Buster’s — and so are a select number of customers from getting free games at the arcade bar franchise for a whole year.
So how do you get that one-year perk to play free games at the Reno Dave & Buster’s?
Well, you just need to be one of the first people in line on opening day, according to the company.
“Be one of the first 100 guests in line at Dave & Buster’s Grand Opening on July 28 and score free games for a year,” the company said in a statement sent to the Reno Gazette Journal about the Reno location’s opening.
Doors at the Reno Dave & Buster’s officially open at 10 a.m., but you will need to arrive earlier to score one of the first 100 spots in line — at least, based on previous store openings in Reno by other franchises such as Handel’s Ice Cream, which offered free ice cream for a year, and Dairy Queen, which offered hamburgers for a year.
What exactly is Dave & Buster’s?
Dave & Buster’s is a major player in the arcade bar scene, which mixes arcade and video games with the traditional sports bar experience marked by sports viewing, classic recreation such as darts and billiards, and food and drink options.
As the newest Dave & Buster’s store, the Reno location will feature many of its latest offerings and services, according to the company.
These include a new store design and new gaming options such as Top Gun Maverick and Hot Wheels Victory Lap among its 120 games and VR experiences.
Other amenities include private game suites, a massive 40-foot screen and 30 oversized high-definition televisions, and a new food menu.
“Whether you’re hosting a celebration in a private Game Suite or cheering on your team in front of our massive 40-foot screen, we’ve built a space for the Reno community to come together, have fun and make unforgettable memories,” said General Manager Drew Maheras.
The new Reno Dave & Buster’s is located at the Shayden Summit mall at 13969 S. Virginia St., in south Reno. Store hours will be Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight, Monday and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Dave & Busters was founded in Coppell, Texas, in 1982 and owns and operates 236 Dave & Buster’s and Main Event locations in North America.
