A man in his 50s has died following an incident which shut part of the M2.
Police were called to a section of the busy motorway between Strood and Chatham just before 5am.

They attended the coastbound carriageway, between Junctions 1 and 3, following “concerns for the welfare of a person”.
Officers closed the road for more than three hours during the emergency service response.
Paramedics were also at the scene.
Both have since confirmed a man in his 50s has died.
A police spokesman added: “The man’s death is being treated as non-suspicious, and a report is being completed for the coroner.”
The road fully reopened at around 9.20am.
