Cooler Master is a brand known for creating excellent cooling solutions; however, we spotted this Cooler Master NR2 Pro mini ITX gaming PC on Amazon with 13% slashed from its original price of $3,199.99. This PC has excellent high-end hardware and after the price cut, you can get it for $2,799.99, saving $400 in the process.

We’ve reviewed the CPU and GPU in this gaming PC, so we’ll showcase our findings to provide a clear picture of the level of performance you can expect from this PC.

What is in this gaming PC?

Here are the components that are in this gaming PC:

RTX 5080

We’ve reviewed the RTX 5080 in-house, and it has excellent performance. In Counter-Strike 2, it managed 188 FPS at 4K and 72 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077. These figures are a result of native testing, meaning DLSS 4 or MFG weren’t used. So, this card is more than capable of churning out high FPS in ultra high definition gaming.

Core Ultra 7 265K

In our Core Ultra 7 265K review, we paired it with the RTX 4070 Ti and ran a couple of tests. In Cyberpunk 2077, at 1080p low settings, we got 191 FPS, which isn’t bad, but in comparison, the 9700X managed 240 FPS. So, this CPU can handle low-resolution gaming, and at higher settings, it’ll be more dependent on the GPU. As we’ve seen, the RTX 5080 has no trouble handling 2K or 4K frame rendering, so this combination should prove to be powerful for gaming and productivity.

Other hardware

Besides the CPU and GPU, this mini ITX gaming PC has a B860I Aorus Pro Ice motherboard, 32GB DDR5 RAM running at 6,000 MHz, and a 2TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD. So, there isn’t anything that’ll hold the overall performance of the system and you should be able to put anything in front of it without worrying about whether it’ll be able to handle it or not.

Who’s this gaming PC for?

Being a mini ITX gaming PC, this is perfect for those who don’t want to dedicate a lot of space to their setup or don’t have it but also don’t want to skip out on the performance. This gaming PC should be great for gaming and productivity. While it does have a 280mm AIO CPU cooler to keep the 265K cool, the small form factor means that components will be cramped up. So, you might need to be careful about the temperature but besides that, we can’t think of any other reason to not get this PC.
