Light & Wonder Secures License to Operate in the UAE
Light & Wonder, a top provider of casino games and digital content, has recently obtained a gaming vendor license in the United Arab Emirates as the country moves forward with introducing regulated gaming activities.

On July 18, the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), which oversees commercial gaming in the UAE, officially granted Light & Wonder a vendor license. This authorization allows the company to offer a wide range of gaming products, including land-based electronic gaming machines, table games, and online casino content to operators within the UAE.
With this approval, Light & Wonder gains access to a new market, expanding its reach and engaging a fresh demographic of players in the region.

Growing Presence of Gaming Providers in the UAE
The GCGRA continues to license multiple B2B companies, strengthening the foundation for a diverse gaming market in the UAE. Light & Wonder now joins other licensed providers such as Fennica Gaming and Scientific Games, who have also obtained regulatory approval.
At the same time, Wynn Resorts is moving forward with its Al Marjan Island casino hotel project, which aims to raise the bar for entertainment offerings in the region.
