New Demo and Gameplay Overview Trailer Available for ‘The Lacerator’ [Watch]

Despite the lull in updates, Fernando Tittz and Games From The Abyss are still on track for a release this year for their grindhouse-inspired Survival Horror game The Lacerator. Not only have they dropped a new trailer showcasing the game’s 80s movie-inspired violence and adult humor, but we also have a brand-new demo that includes a whole host of updates/changes.

Playing out like a Nintendo Direct presentation, the new trailer is “hosted” by Fernando Tittz, who briefs viewers on the story, as well as gives an overview of the gameplay. That includes the branching paths and multiple endings to discover, as well as the many “unexpected, bloody surprises.”

As for the demo, in addition to a sexy new logo, it includes a whole whack of new stuff, including playable areas, endings, puzzle, cutscenes and more. That of course includes new lacerations, including a rather “personal” one.

The Lacerator centres around Max, a famous porn actor and best to ever do it. During the latest recording session with his crew, things get really hard when everyone is attacked and abducted by the eponymous Lacerator. Now inside a filthy hideout, Max must do whatever it takes to escape alive and in one piece… But that likely won’t happen, as the psycho killer loves to slice up his victims! What part of your body will be cut this time? Who knows? The Lacerator does. There are multiple main escape routes, but depending on your remaining limbs, you lose access to some of these paths. Each of these present a different narrative branch that will provide answers not available in the others.

Look for The Lacerator later this year on Steam.
