Thomas Frank is already excited about what Mohammed Kudus can bring to his Tottenham side – and the new manager has now broken his silence on the club’s marquee summer signing.
Tottenham Hotspur have splashed the cash this summer window, bringing in Mohammed Kudus for £55million from West Ham United, after a lengthy back-and-forth that saw the Hammers reject three separate bids from the North London club.
Kudus has since arrived at Hotspur Way, where he has been settling in smoothly and has already taken part in his first training session, looking sharp and even outpacing Tottenham full-back Destiny Udogie in some of the early drills.
With Thomas Frank revealing that there could very well be two different elevens in tomorrow’s friendly clash against Reading, there is a real possibility that Kudus will make his first appearance in a Spurs shirt.

Coming in from West Ham United, the Ghana international endured a rather underwhelming campaign last term, where he managed just five goals in the Premier League.
However, that is precisely the area Thomas Frank will be looking to improve as head coach, with the club keen to extract the attacking flair and cutting edge Kudus showed in his debut season at West Ham.

The manager has now spoken publicly about his new signing during his first press conference, taking time to praise Daniel Levy and technical director Johan Lange for securing the deal.
He said, as relayed by Sky Sports: “Great signing from the club. Top work from Daniel [Levy] and [Spurs technical director] Johan [Lange], getting a very good player in.
“He will give us some of that unpredictability in the game. His finishing is very good and he is almost at the perfect age to perform and to hit the next level.”
Spurs eye more transfers after Mohammed Kudus signing
Tottenham are still actively in the transfer market and continue to work on more additions to the squad ahead of the new campaign.
A bid has already gone in for Morgan Gibbs-White this summer, with Tottenham reportedly activating the Nottingham Forest man’s release clause just 24 hours after completing the Kudus deal.
While it was initially expected that the Forest midfielder would have been unveiled as a Spurs player by now, with a medical pencilled in for 11 July, Gibbs-White’s move has since been delayed due to legal complications, with Evangelos Marinakis and his board yet to give the green light.
Frank was also asked about the recent back-and-forth between both clubs over Gibbs-White, but the Spurs boss chose to keep his cards close to his chest, giving little away when pressed on the situation.
