Grab ’em while they’re hot
Steam has just dropped 9 new free games for you to play.
Free games on Steam isn’t necessarily an uncommon occurrence. Scrolling through the front page on the Steam store will give you a bunch of new ones to download each week.
Even so, we regularly like to collect all of the free new releases on Steam and hand them over to you, so you can decide for yourself what looks worth your time playing.
Fortunately, this week has seen nine new free games released on Steam that you can download and keep until the end of time. Well, a bit dramatic, but it’ll remain in your Steam account indefinitely.
The nine new free games that have been added to Steam are:
- Pirate Go: Bravo, a turn-based strategy game where classic board game mechanics meet high-seas adventure.
- Elysian Siege, a short paced 2D platformer developed as an academic project.
- Revenant: Through The Veil, an adventure game that blends archaeology and souls-like combat.
- Mang Ojek: Driving Test, a driving simulation game where you prove your skills as a professional motorcycle driver.
- Simple Zombie Survival, a wave-based zombie FPS intended for 1-4 players.
- a pig game: A Pee Wee Premiere, a 3D platformer where you play as a ceramic polka dotted pig who must collect toothpicks.
- Voden’s Job, Play cards that draw cards, that draw more cards, that earn you DNA to evolve your specimen.
- The Population Must Grow, continuously build up your city’s population and watch it thrive.
- Cartoon Survivor, a 3D platformer set in a vibrant prehistoric world filled with dangerous creatures and large obstacles.
You’ll be able to download each of these games by heading to the Steam links and adding them to your library from there.
In addition to this, the hit strategy RPG Fantasy General 2 is also available to grab for free at the moment. It’s normally a paid game, but you have until this Thursday to add it to your library and keep it forever.
