While today’s weather has brightened up during the day, the Met Office has issued a further warning of heavy rain across most of the country on Monday.
A yellow warning is in place in a wide band across the whole of the eastern side of England and much of Scotland, indicating heavy rain that could bring disruption to travel.

Here in Kent, there is a specific warning of a risk of thunderstorms between 11am and 9pm.
Heavy showers and thunderstorms may lead to flooding and disruption, said the Met.
Motorists should expect heavy spray and sudden flooding that could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
There is also “a small chance” that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater or lightning strikes.
The Met Office said if flooding does occur, train and bus services could be disrupted and power supplies may be affected.
To stay safe, it said don’t drive through floodwater; don’t go outside to repair damage in a thunderstorm; secure loose items in the garden ahead of the storm, and stock up with batteries, candles and phone charging packs in case of a power outage.
Forecasters said some places could experience three to five centimetres of rain within a few hours.
The good news is that there are no weather warnings for the rest of the week.
