World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is entering the US online gambling market through a new exclusive licensing agreement with Fanatics Betting and Gaming.
The multi-year deal grants Fanatics the rights to produce and distribute WWE-branded online casino games on its Fanatics Casino platform.
Games to launch in July across four states
Under the agreement, Fanatics will offer a portfolio of WWE-themed casino games exclusively on Fanatics Casino, available in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The games will be accessible via iOS, Android, and web platforms.
The initial suite of five games will roll out by the end of July, coinciding with the lead-up to WWE’s annual SummerSlam event, scheduled for August 2-3, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The release will feature a WWE-branded takeover of the Fanatics Casino app, including exclusive sign-up offers and a WWE-themed version of the Spin to Win game.
The licensed titles include:
- WWE Blackjack (Boom Entertainment)
- Raw Multiplier Melee (Boom Entertainment)
- SmackDown Big Money Entrance! (Boom Entertainment)
- WWE Bonus Rumble Gold Blitz (Games Global)
- WWE Clash of the Wilds (Games Global)
Fanatics Game Studios will develop the new offerings in collaboration with Boom Entertainment and Games Global, two established names in online gaming development.
“We are excited to expand our relationship with WWE to now include an exclusive portfolio of WWE-themed online casino games,” said Ari Borod, Chief Business Officer at Fanatics Betting and Gaming. “This is a natural extension of the WWE-Fanatics partnership which already includes global e-commerce, licensed merchandise, memorabilia, as well as producing and distributing a growing lineup of digital shows.”
This collaboration also adds to WWE’s previous ventures in the gaming sector. The company has previously explored gaming through branded slot machines in Las Vegas, fantasy prediction games on WWE.com, social casino apps, and a partnership with DraftKings for free-to-play contests during events like WrestleMania.
WWE moves into regulated online gambling
The initiative represents WWE’s approach to entering the regulated online gambling space without engaging in real-money betting on scripted match outcomes, which remains prohibited. Instead, the company is leveraging its brand to engage fans through themed gaming experiences within existing gambling regulations.
Fanatics Casino provides a range of gaming content, featuring classic and modern casino games such as slots, blackjack, roulette, progressive jackpots, and video poker. The platform integrates offerings from developers like Light & Wonder, IGT PlayDigital, Evolution, White Hat Studios, and Wazdan.
Fanatics Casino also operates a rewards system where players earn FanCash on each game played, which can be converted into casino credit, bonus bets, or merchandise. The platform includes features promoting responsible gaming, with tools for setting time, deposit, and wager limits. Additionally, Fanatics Casino has a partnership with Birches Health to provide support services for players managing gambling behaviors.
