Indian esports organisation Velocity Gaming has won the Omen VCSA 2025 Ascension Qualifiers LAN finals, securing a spot to represent India on the global stage.

Velocity Gaming will represent India at the upcoming VCT Ascension Pacific 2025, scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from October 13 to 26, 2025. The team defeated S8UL with a 3-1 scoreline in the Grand Final of the Omen VCSA 2025 Ascension Qualifiers LAN, held at Ardee Mall in Gurugram. With the victory, Velocity Gaming took home a prize of ₹24.3 lakh, while S8UL, finishing as runners-up, earned ₹12.15 lakh.

The Omen VCSA 2025 Ascension Qualifiers drew more than 12 million views and saw over 50,000 peak concurrent viewers across official and creator streams. Fans who missed the tournament can watch it on the official Nodwin Gaming YouTube channel.

In other news, Paper Rex emerged victorious at the VCT Masters Toronto 2025, securing a prize of $350,000 along with 7 VCT championship points.
