date everything already has a copycat called flirt everything date objects.

There’s already a Date Everything copycat called Flirt Everything Date Objects, which, ironically, bears no real resemblance to the popular dating simulator. Date Everything achieved significant success shortly after its launch, which has likely prompted the release of this imitation.

Date Everything lets players date personified objects inspired by the furniture in their homes, made possible by a magical pair of glasses that reveal each item’s human form. While the concept might sound bizarre on paper, the game has turned out to be genuinely fun, currently holding an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam.

Instead of Dating Everything, Some Players Are Playing Matchmaker

Date Everything players have discovered that some objects can be paired together in-game – while they wish certain others could.

Flirt Everything Date Objects, on the other hand, feels like a low-effort copy of Date Everything. It features 14 human-object hybrid characters the player can “flirt” with, but unlike Date Everything‘s creatively personified objects, these hybrids look more like cardboard cutouts. The game is currently available on PC and Xbox for a steep $20 USD, discounted to $10. And since its launch on July 14, it has yet to receive a single review on either platform.

Flirt Everything Is Nothing Like Date Everything

Date Everything‘s player base has been mocking Flirt Everything ever since it surfaced. Many fans suspect the copycat was made with AI, citing its odd-looking character designs and awkward dialogue. Some have even pointed out the irony of a likely AI-generated dating sim imitating a game that opens with an anti-AI theme. For those unfamiliar, Date Everything begins with the protagonist losing their job to AI, setting the stage for the events that follow. It’s also worth noting that Date Everything wasn’t made with any AI-generated content, as developers are required to disclose AI usage on the game’s Steam page under new regulations.

Aside from the copied gameplay premise, Flirt Everything also plagiarizes Date Everything‘s logo, which some fans believe could amount to copyright infringement. It remains to be seen whether developer Sassy Chap Games will respond or pursue legal action. However, given the copycat’s low profile, it seems unlikely the developer will even acknowledge the infringements, at least for now.

Considering the massive success of Date Everything as an unconventional dating simulator, it would be no surprise if more copycats surface in the coming months. Flirt Everything may be the first, but it likely won’t be the last. Fortunately, fans don’t need to settle for poor-quality clones if they’re craving more Date Everything-style gameplay. There are already several quality games to check out after playing Date Everything, with some good examples including Monster Prom 4: Monster Con, I Was A Teenage Exocolonist, and A Date With Death.
