It’s been a decade since electronic music duo Basement Jaxx have put on a live show for their fans.
However, after 10 years of occasional DJ sets and festival appearances, the London group are returning to the stage this summer with a run of gigs, including huge headline show at Margate’s Dreamland.

The pair’s performance on the outdoor Scenic Stage will be one of the few times since 2015 that Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe have played a live show together.
The gig will also celebrate more than 30 years since the duo formed Basement Jaxx, an award-winning electronic dance act that rose to prominence during the mid-1990s.
Their hits include Red Alert, Rendez-Vu and Where’s Your Head At and they have won the BRIT Award for Best British Dance Act twice.

“After a few years DJing around the globe, it’ll be great to return to the live stage,” says Felix. “To connect to people with life-affirming energy and give people a great time.
“It’s great our hits are still very much alive with younger generations so we connect across the age range – and it’ll be great to pop in a couple of bangers from our forthcoming album too.”
Basement Jaxx will be at Dreamland on Saturday, July 26 2025. You can book tickets online here.
The concert is part of the Margate Summer Series, a string of open-air live events featuring artists such as the Sex Pistols, McFly, Olly Murs, Sugababes and more.
