A teenage boy is among three people arrested following a serious assault which has left a man in a critical condition in hospital.
Police say the 14-year-old boy was one of those taken into custody following a disturbance in Lorne Road, Ramsgate.
Officers were called to the street off Southwood Road shortly before 10.30pm on Monday and discovered a man in his 30s with a head injury.
He was taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a critical condition, a spokesperson said.
Two men, aged 21 from Ramsgate and 18 from East Sussex, as well as a 14-year-old boy from Herne Bay, were all arrested on suspicion of assault.
They have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
