A town centre road was blocked by police after a suspect being arrested was struck by a police car.
Officers were called to Cheriton Place in Folkestone town centre on Friday morning following reports of a disturbance.

Initial reports said a person had been struck by a car.
However, police have confirmed a patrol car attending the scene hit a man at low speed during a struggle with officers trying to make an arrest relating to an earlier alleged assault.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said the patient suffered minor injuries, but they were taken to hospital after receiving treatment at the scene from paramedics.
Emergency services were called at about 9.30am on Friday.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “We were called to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Cheriton Place in Folkestone.
“Crews assessed and treated the pedestrian at the scene before taking them to William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.”
A spokesperson for Kent Police confirmed the force vehicle was involved.
They added: “Whilst officers were at the scene making enquiries, a man was hit by a vehicle. He received minor injuries.
“Officers arrested a man in his 50s from Folkestone on suspicion of assault.”
He was released on bail while inquiries continue.
