Azeron’s new ergonomic game pad replaces gaming keyboards and controllers and packs Hall-effect joysticks and mechanical switches

With ergonomics being the main goal, the Keyzen offers plenty of customisation options — both at the configuration screen and on the device after the fact. For starters, the Keyzen can be purchased with both a flat or curved palm rest — or both — and Azeron offers linear, tactile, and clicky switch options, and three different joystick tops are included in the box so you can figure out what the optimum setup is for you. The online configurator also offers plenty of colour customisation options, allowing you to personalise everything from the wrist rest and case colours to individual keycaps and joystick colours. The Azeron Keyzen uses DSA profile keycaps, which have a uniform profile, so they can be moved around the switches freely without making things look or feel strange.

The “fingers” that hold the key switches offer a large degree of adjustability, too, with screws on the bottom allowing you to adjust the length and angle of each finger individually. There is also an included restrictor ring to limit the range of motion on the joysticks. All of this visual and ergonomics customisation is largely the result of the Keyzen being 3D printed. The Keyzen is also offered in both left- and right-handed mouse users (right-handed users use the Keyzen with their left hand and vice versa for left-handed mouse users) but the version designed to be used with the right hand costs €10 more, coming in at €195 without any additional accessories. The more standard Keyzen retails for €185 ($216 converted). The Keyzen ships with the tools needed to make those adjustments and a detachable USB-C-to-A cable.
