PlayStation Plus subscribers are losing another 14 games next month, as the service reveals some big titles, such as EA Sports UFC 5, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and many more will be leaving in August 2025. One of the key benefits offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers is the constant stream of new games added to the game catalog for its Extra and Premium tiers. But with new titles added each month, many are also removed.
Although there are a massive batch of games leaving the service in just a few weeks time, eight new games were recently confirmed for PlayStation Plus Extra’s July additions, as well as two classic titles for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. Those sad to see The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt leaving PS Plus next month will be pleased to know that another massive RPG from CD Projekt Red was just added to the service: Cyberpunk 2077. It joins PS Plus along with the likes of Planet Zoo, Risk of Rain 2, New World: Aeternum, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, and many more, making it a great month for subscribers. As for Premium subscribers, both Twisted Metal 3 and Twisted Metal 4 are also hitting the service this month.

There are some big hitters leaving the service next month, including one of the biggest games to ever release on PS Plus: EA Sports UFC 5. The popular mixed martial arts game was added to the Extra game catalog back in March and quickly received a massive player resurgence. According to data published shortly after the game’s debut on the service, EA Sports UFC 5‘s player count spiked by 127.3%, making it one of the most popular games to ever be added to PS Plus. The only other game to be as popular is God of War Ragnarok, which was added to the service in January and remains PS Plus’ biggest addition.
Despite the fact that some massively popular games are regularly removed from both PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass, a recent report revealed that video game subscriptions spending is at an all-time high. Services such as Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, and many others, seem to be peaking, as new data revealed that video game subscription spending hit $600 million in the US for the first time ever in May 2025, showing the continued popularity in subscription services.
