As Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest try to resolve their differences over Morgan Gibbs-White, Ben Jacobs has now revealed what the midfielder plans on doing as he waits to complete a switch to N17.
Gibbs-White has begun pre-season training with Nottingham Forest as a legal battle rages on between his club and Spurs regarding his proposed switch to Hotspur Way.
The Midlands club are furious that Spurs knew of Gibbs-White’s confidential release clause and are demanding to know how they did when they are not allowed to speak to the midfielder or his agent.
It has emerged over recent days that Gibbs-White has informed Forest of his desire to join Spurs, but the midfielder will not take any extreme measures to push through the transfer.
Gibbs-White will not spoil his relationship with Nottingham Forest
Journalist Ben Jacobs has now taken to social media to reveal that Gibbs-White will continue training with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men until the two clubs resolve the issue.
The journalist confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur and Forest still remain locked in talks over the 25-year-old, with a deal to take the midfielder to N17 far from dead.
While the former Wolves man is keen on a move to Thomas Frank’s side, he will not down tools to get the move as he has no desire to leave the City Ground on bad terms.

Tottenham can speed up Morgan Gibbs-White transfer
Some sources have claimed over the last few days that Tottenham may have to end up paying over £60m for Gibbs-White if they want to get the transfer over the line.
It has been asserted by some journalists that Spurs can solve the issue by making an improved second offer for Gibbs-White.
The fact that Spurs and Forest are still speaking to each other suggests that we might see the two clubs reach a compromise without escalating the issue.
