An event promising “monster truck madness and jaw-dropping excitement” is coming to a Kent venue for the sixth year.
Monsterslam is being held at Quex Park in Birchington on July 27.

It will feature “one of the biggest trucks on the planet”, called Big Pete.
Tickets cost £19.95 for adults, £5.95 for children aged three to five, and free for two-and-unders.
Organisers of the event said: “Get ready for a day of jaw-dropping, engine-roaring, metal-mashing excitement.
“Back by popular demand and proudly sponsored by Reclamet Ltd, Monsterslam promises a thrilling spectacle packed with monster truck madness, gravity-defying stunts and heart-pounding action.
“Headlining the event is none other than Big Pete, one of the biggest monster trucks on the planet, known for tearing cars apart, flattening caravans, and leaving a trail of epic destruction.

“This year, it’s bigger than ever – with not one, not two, but three mighty monster trucks tearing up the track in a thunderous display of power.”
Monsterslam runs from 9am till 7pm and tickets are split into morning and afternoon slots.
Some of the activities and displays on offer include rides in the huge vehicles, Motocross FMX drivers and the Stannange International Stunt Team.
The show comes after criticism of a different monster truck event, run by another company, nearby at Manston.
RA Monster Events took place at the former airport on June 14 and 15.

But customers called it an “absolute rip-off” after a truck broke down during Saturday’s show.
