Journalist shuts down Morgan Gibbs-White transfer rumour amidst Tottenham saga

Journalist Alex Crook has rubbished the latest rumours coming out about Morgan Gibbs-White this morning as Nottingham Forest and Tottenham remain mired in a legal battle over the attacking midfielder.

Most Spurs fans will be caught up in the Morgan Gibbs-White transfer tussle between Tottenham and Nottingham Forest after the Midlands club accused the North London side of speaking to the midfielder without their permission.

It is unclear at the moment when the issue will be resolved, but Tottenham are confident the Morgan Gibbs-White deal will go through.

Gibbs-White began pre-season training with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side on Monday as expected, but there have been some interesting rumours swirling around the 25-year-old on social media today.

Alex Crook denies Morgan Gibbs-White has not reported for training amid Tottenham stand-off

This morning, there had been rumours circling on social media that Morgan Gibbs-White did not show up for Nottingham Forest training as he pushes for a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

That would be a big statement from the attacking midfielder amidst the ongoing legal battle between his club and Spurs.

However, talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook has now taken to social media to rubbish those claims, confirming that Gibbs-White was indeed spotted at Forest’s training ground at Wilford Lane.

Will Gibbs-White put pressure on Nottingham Forest?

We know that Mohammed Kudus took some extreme measures to push through his move to Tottenham, even turning up late to training twice.

According to reports over the last few days, Gibbs-White has already made it clear to the Forest hierarchy that he wants to join Spurs.

It will be interesting to see if the attacking midfielder takes other measures to push through a move to N17 if the legal issue drags on for another week or two.
