Giant paddling pools have opened at a Kent farm park – just in time for the school holidays.
Visitors to Quex Adventure Farm Park in Birchington are being encouraged to bring their swimmers and towels following the opening of two enormous pools this week.

The new attraction – called the Pirate Cove Splash Zone – is likely to be popular with Kent families, after some record-breaking temperatures in the county already this summer.
Admission to the inflatable paddling pools, which are not heated, is included with every general admission farm park ticket, says Quex, and there is no need to pre-book a splash session.
However, parents and carers must supervise their youngsters in the water, as no lifeguards are on duty, and adults are asked to bring swim nappies for toddlers who are not yet toilet trained.
Dance parties, a foam party and treasure hunts are also all planned for the new Pirate-themed attraction in the weeks ahead according to details published on the adventure park’s website.
Families can buy their admission tickets online in advance, which enables visitors to save money when compared with on-the-gate prices, with tickets starting from £8.45 for children and £1.50 for accompanying adults.
