Sports Direct is set to open its latest Kent store, this time filling the gap left by Carpetright in a retail park.
The new shop will open its doors tomorrow, having completed a refit of the former Sittingbourne Retail Park store.

The firm shut more than 200 stores last year, including 10 in Kent, after it went into administration.
This included the Sittingbourne store on the retail park, which has been vacant for almost a year.
Sports Direct took over the site following the sale and closure of its branch on the High Street.
At the start of the year, that store went under the hammer at a Clive Emson auction.
It came after planning permission for the redevelopment of the 18th-century, Grade II-listed building was granted in April last year.

The development would require the demolition of a two-storey extension to the rear of the site, replacing it with a three-storey structure.
The scheme looks to accommodate two commercial spaces on the ground floor and eight flats over the first and second floors, which will include two two-bedroom flats and six one-bedroom flats.
Sports Direct’s £30,000-a-year lease ran out in 2023, but it continued trading until earlier this month ahead of the move.
It is the latest addition to the area, which also saw The Range move in after Homebase went bust.
