A skydiver was airlifted to a London hospital after being injured during a parachute landing.
An air ambulance and paramedics were called to the incident at Headcorn Aerodrome on Saturday afternoon.

The man was treated at the scene before being flown to King’s College Hospital.
Go Skydive Headcorn manager Jane Buckle told KentOnline: “One of our experienced club members – who had already completed 1,333 jumps without incident – tripped over after landing and unfortunately broke his ankle.
“It was appropriate to call the emergency services, and in the meantime, our chief instructor, who is a member of the airfield fire and rescue crew, took one of the vehicles to him to give first aid.
“The level of response from the emergency services is down to them.”
An ambulance service spokesperson says paramedics were called shortly after 1pm on Saturday to reports of a person in need of medical attention after a parachute landing at Headcorn Aerodrome.

“Crews assessed and treated one patient at the scene for injuries, including to their leg, before being joined by the air ambulance,” they added.
“The patient was then airlifted to King’s College Hospital for further medical treatment.”
