Rail services have been suspended amid a serious collision between a train and a van.
Earlier today, Southeastern announced routes heading between Canterbury East and London Victoria were set to be disrupted after the crash in Teynham, near Sittingbourne.
Video from the scene, which KentOnline has chosen not to publish, show large flames coming from the cross-section after the crash.
One eye-witness at the scene said the several ambulances, police and fire services vehicles are in the village.
The road has been closed near Lower Road, Hempsted Lane and Frognal Lane.
Emergency services have been contacted for comment.
