Man sought in false imprisonment case now 33rd person on Kent’s ‘most wanted’ list

A man being sought in connection with a false imprisonment investigation has been added to Kent Police’s ‘most wanted’ list.

The force has shared a custody image of Louis Bedingfield, who they say has links to Whitstable, Thanet and Maidstone.

Anyone who sees him is urged to call 999, quoting 46/117400/25.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

Bedingfield is now the 33rd person on the force’s ‘most wanted’ list – 32 of them are men.

The only woman on the list is Shannon Cook, who is wanted on recall to prison.

She was previously jailed for her part in a savage attack that saw a man repeatedly stabbed by two men outside a pub in Whitstable.

The longest anyone has been on the list is nine years, with Stephen Anderson wanted since failing to appear in court in 2016.

The 71-year-old was due to face two charges of fraud by false representation in Herne Bay between 2013 and 2015.
