We’re now into the third round of 2025’s Amazon Prime Day deals and I know what you’re thinking. Surely there can’t still be sales running?

There absolutely are, this year’s event takes place across a full four days and I’ve been here since the beginning, rounding up all the biggest discounts across PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC games and gadgets. There aren’t just any old bargain bucket price cuts, though. Amazon is notorious for marking up prices only to ‘drop’ them again on Prime Day.

That’s why I’m making sure that every Prime Day deal I post here is either at or near a record low. Not only that, but the GamesRadar+ Hardware team has extensively tested and reviewed hundreds of the very gizmos on sale right now. That means I’m hand-picking the tech that we actually recommend.

I’ve scrubbed through the entire roster of 2025’s Prime Day deals for gamers this week, and found the top 20 discounts you need to know about right now. These are the best gadgets we’ve tested at their lowest prices possible – that’s a recipe for a bargain.

Who am I?

Tabitha Baker, Hardware Editor at GamesRadar

I’ve been tracking the best Prime Day deals for gamers for five years now, starting out as a dedicated Deals Editor at our sister site TechRadar, before joining the ranks here at GamesRadar three years ago. Since then, I’ve been hands on with the latest and greatest releases from the brands you need to know about this week, while tracking their prices day in, day out.

That means I know a good deal when I spot one (and where to go to find them), but I’ve also personally tested a massive range of the tech on offer this week. I’ll steer you clear of the products (and prices) to avoid all the way through this year’s massive four-day Prime event.

How I find the best Prime Day deals

Finding the best Prime Day deals for gamers starts with choosing the right products in the first place. Everything featured in my top list has undergone extensive testing by the GamesRadar+ team, from controller stress-tests to headset sound checks. We live, work, and play with every product we review for a minimum of two weeks before making our recommendations, and well beyond that timeframe after each review is published.

That means we don’t test each item in a clinical lab environment – we use these gizmos exactly as you will, so that you know exactly what the experience is going to be like. Only the games and hardware offering the highest quality performance, widest feature set, and absolute best value for money are listed in this guide.

The GamesRadar+ team reviews hundreds of products every year, from the biggest and smallest brands in the game but we also use this tech day in, day out in our own lives and setups. The way we test each device differs, but you can find out more about our process via the GamesRadar+ Hardware Policy.

Once I’ve got my top list of products for the year, I go back in time – well, I check price histories. I watch all these listing pages all year round, so I know when a deal is out of the ordinary. The Prime Day deals listed above will all be either at (or near) their lowest ever prices, so you know you’re getting the best tech at the best rate.

When will Amazon Prime Day end?

The days of time loop games are, thankfully, behind us. You’re not stuck in a Groundhog Day situation, Amazon Prime Day is a four-day event this year. That means these offers will come to an end on July 11 at midnight, though I’ve already started to see some offers jumping back up in price already.

Is Amazon Prime Day good for gaming deals?

Amazon offers a massive range of gaming deals every year on Prime Day, but whether you consider its prices ‘good’ depends on what you’re looking for. Peripherals like mice, keyboards, headsets, and controllers all generally see some of their best prices of the year during this sale, but I’d recommend looking to competitors for anything more technical.

Amazon struggles to keep up with larger PC retailers, so those on the hunt for gaming desktops and laptops would do better with Newegg or Best Buy. Thankfully, anti-Prime Day deals are rife this year and I’m seeing plenty of savings away from Amazon’s domain.

Can you trust cheaper ‘Amazon-only’ brands on Prime Day?

This isn’t my first rodeo, I know that the cheapest Prime Day deals for gamers often come from bizarrely-named Amazon-only brands. Of course, I’m only included the gadgets we’ve tested and recommended on GamesRadar+ in my top list and some of those products do fall into this category.

In general, though, you’ll need to use a little common sense to know when to trust a budget buy. There are three things you’ll need to look for if you’re going it alone:

1. Verified reviews

A lot of these bargain brands will use fake reviews to get to the top of search pages. Look for verified purchase reviews with photos to make sure you’re getting the real deal.

2. Don’t trust anything with all five-star reviews

Of course, these manufacturers also pay for reviews. If that’s happening, you’ll see a lot of five-star reviews and almost no one-stars. That’s just not realistic – even the best product in the world is going to have its haters for one reason or another. This is a major red flag for me.

3. Make sure reviews are for the product you’re buying

If they’re feeling particularly sneaky, a bad apple will generate a bunch of positive reviews on a listing page, only to change the product that’s actually being sold there. If you see reviews mentioning features or uses that don’t make sense for the product you’re buying, it’s time to run.

Reminder: The Lenovo Legion Go S is under $500

Lenovo Legion Go S (Windows 11) | $729.99 $499.99 at Best Buy

If you’ve been searching for the perfect handheld gaming PC over Prime Day, you’ve no doubt already come across the Lenovo Legion Go S. If not, then you’ll want to go check out the Steam Deck rival since it has dropped under $500 at Best Buy. The offer means you’re getting an 8-inch device with an 1080p 120Hz display, adjustable triggers, and all the versatility of Windows 11 for less than a 512GB Steam Deck OLED model.

Admittedly, Windows 11 is a blessing and a curse, but I can confirm the Legion Go S makes up for that with nicer controls than its predecessor and solid build quality. Performance is on par with the Steam Deck, though, so if you want something that packs a greater punch, you’ll want to start with the Asus ROG Ally.

Atari 400 Mini | $90.42 $76.16 at Amazon

Plug and play retro consoles were all the rage in the late 2010s, but systems like the Atari 400 Mini are still delivering an excellent pint-sized way to play the classics. I’ve been watching a specific listing for a while that allows you to order the device via Amazon Germany for far less than in the US, and it’s now sitting under $80 for the first time.

You’ll get free delivery despite it technically being an import, and the German version is virtually the same as the one sold in the US. That means playing plenty of microcomputer capers using HDMI and having the ability to run your own Atari 5200 and 8-bit ROMs, something that’ll make playing games from decades ago far easier.

Holding onto your old Switch? The Nitro Deck will revamp the handheld for under $50

CRKD Nitro Deck Limited Edition | $79.99 $47.99 at Amazon

I don’t know about you, but I’ve gotten used to the feel of bulkier handhelds like the Steam Deck. Therefore, the idea of giving the OG Switch more heft using a controller grip with the Nitro Deck sounds ideal, and the limited edition Gamecube version is now under $50 thanks to Prime Day.

This is actually a record low on the Gamecube-themed model, which is great since it’s arguably the best-looking version. That said, no matter what colorway you settle for, you’ll get hall-effect thumbsticks and ergonomic grips that could save you from thinking about the Switch 2 for a little while.

Our best budget controller pick just hit a new record low

EasySMX X10 controller on a black shelf with a plant next to it

EasySMX X10 PC Controller | $49.99 $26.49 at Amazon

Even at full price, the EasySMX X10 is what we’d call a solid budget PC controller. But, apparently, Prime Day wasn’t content with that MSRP, so the sale has dropped it to under $30 for subscribers.

The 47% discount knocks the EasySMX to a new record low at Amazon, and honestly, I’d be surprised if you find a better value gamepad for under $27. The controller comes armed with hall-effect joysticks, back buttons, and even removable faceplates – all traits that normally apply to premium pads. This is absolutely a deal worth instantly adding to your cart before stock vanishes.

Sony’s slick Inzone H5 PS5 headset is 15% cheaper with Prime

Sony Inzone H5 gaming headset | $149.99 $128 at Amazon

If you’re seeking a Sony-branded headset for your PS5, you’ll certainly want to check out the Inzone H5. While this pair of cans doesn’t quite have a seat at our best gaming headset table, it’s still a solid audio solution for the PlayStation 5 that’ll be super comfortable and will work with your PC too.

Prime Day has knocked 15% off the Inzone H5, which brings it back down to its lowest ever price. It is on the pricey side even with a discount, but if you want solid PS5 spatial audio and something that looks the part, this could be the headset for you.

WD Black SN770M M.2 SSD | $139.99 $84.99 at Amazon

The Steam Deck seems to be living in my head rent-free today (no surprises there), so I thought I’d share one of the best upgrades you can make to the handheld. Using a nifty Prime Day discount, you can grab a compatible WD Black SN770M M.2 SSD and give your portable a huge storage upgrade, which could save you eyeing up other devices for a little while.

Instinctively, I’d say this 2230 M.2 SSD will benefit those of you with an older 64GB model most, although it’ll still double the capacity of the top Steam Deck OLED available. This drive is also compatible with the Asus ROG Ally and various other portable PCs, so you don’t have to be on team Valve to pick this one up.

The Steam Deck dock I use daily is discounted and comes with a freebie

Baseus 6-in-1 Steam Deck dock | $39.99 $31.99 at Amazon

Not to big myself up, but I was one of the first to publish Steam Deck dock reviews on the internet, so I know a thing or two about docking stations for the handheld. With that in mind, the Baseus 6-in-1 Steam Deck dock remains my favorite due to its solid build quality, thoughtful design elements, and trendsetting adjustable cradle, and it’s down in price for Prime Day.

Now, it’s worth noting that the Baseus 6-in-1 has dipped under $30 in the past, but there’s more to this specific deal than meets the eye. If you add the company’s 100W USC cable to your cart too, you’ll get that thrown in for free, which is neat since it comes armed with a tiny LED stats screen. The bundle naturally means you’re getting a better offer than before, as the wire retails for $18.99. If you do want the cable on its own, though, it’s going for $15.19 at Amazon thanks to Prime Day.

One of our top PS5 controller alternatives is 25% off with Prime

The GameSir Tarantula Pro on its charging stand

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

GameSir Tarantula Pro | $79.99 $59.99 at Amazon

Personally, I prefer Xbox-style gamepads, but if you’re looking for an affordable PC controller with symmetrical Sony vibes, the GameSir Tarantula Pro will deliver for under $60. Now sitting at a record low price for Prime Day, this pad is going to work with your rig, Switch, and smartphone thanks to Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity.

The main audience for this controller is potentially those of you who’ve been using a Dualshock to play PC games for years, but would like a fresher controller with perks like back buttons. It also boasts hall-effect thumbsticks, so it’ll potentially outlast the old PS4 controller too, and fight off the dreaded stick drift.

My go-to Game Boy-shaped emulator is under $60

Anbernic RG35XX Plus with Sonic 2 on screen

Anbernic RG35XX Plus | $74 $58.99 at Amazon

The Anbernic RG35XX Plus is pretty much the evolution of the classic Bittboy handheld emulator that’s been going for years now, and it’s 20% cheaper at Amazon for Prime Day. This pocket-friendly portable is surprisingly versatile despite taking cues from the Game Boy, and it’ll make for a great way to play everything from Ninty console classics to 3D PS1 capers.

There are a few listings for the RG35XX Plus at Amazon, but this grey version is the cheapest I’ve spotted at the retailer. If you’re not fussed about the newest model, there’s also a vanilla RG35XX for $42.99, but based on my testing, the Plus packs a better value punch for the money.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD) |
$899.99 $649.99 at Amazon

I’ve tested enough gaming monitors to fill a warehouse, and the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 is up there with the best. Not only does it boast tremendously vibrant visuals thanks to its panel and an attractive aesthetic, but you’ll also get one of the top anti-glare displays out there right now for under $550, thanks to Prime Day.

It’s worth keeping in mind that there are now two versions of the Odyssey OLED G6. The original’s panel can hit 360Hz, whereas the slightly cheaper version sticks with 240Hz. Both are going to feel super slick in first-person shooters, but you might want to spend slightly more if you’d rather boost fps further at 1440p.

Jsuax 20000mAh 65W Power Bank | $59.99 $47.99 at Amazon

Yes, I know chargers aren’t exactly riveting, but that’s why you should use Prime Day to grab something like the Jsaux 20000mAh 65W power bank for your Steam Deck. I can say without a doubt that I’d be scrambling for my AC adapter constantly if it weren’t for this compact juice box, as it helps give the powerhouse a bit more stamina when handling beefy modern PC releases.

If you grab the matching Jsaux ModCase, you’ll also be able to attach this 65W to the Deck like a backpack. Sadly, Prime Day hasn’t discounted that cover yet, but the power bank on its own is still highly effective since it has a tailored USB-C cable at the top, an extra port for high-speed charging, and two full-size USB-A ports for your other gadgets.

The Super Pocket, my favorite budget handheld, is now under $50

Super Pocket handheld with Super Burger Time title screen displayed.

Super Pocket TECHNOS Edition | $56.37 $47.99 at Amazon

It’s arguably already extremely affordable, but the wonderful Super Pocket has dropped under $15 for Prime Day. It normally stays pretty solidly at $60 in the US, but the budget-friendly portable now has 15% off.

The Prime discount applies to the TECHNOS version of the Super Pocket, meaning it comes with 15 arcade games by that specific arcade publisher. That’s great news for the retro console fans out there collecting these tiny Evercade cartridge-based systems, as you’ll be able to add the blue and white variant to your collection. But, even if you’re new, this cheap and cheerful console is going to bring you a lot of joy for far less than a single Switch 2 game.

We’re only halfway through this year’s Prime Day deals!

That’s right, normally Amazon Prime Day would be all tucked away right now but the retailer has doubled down on its summer sale in 2025. That means you’ll still be able to grab discounts on all things PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC until July 11. I’ll, of course, be right here seeing you through all the newest savings.
