This is the moment a trailer burst into flames triggering gridlock on a busy motorway.
A dramatic video shows a large blue vehicle engulfed in flames on the M20 coastbound between junctions 8 for Lenham and 9 for Ashford.
It comes after the same route was shut in both directions earlier today for investigations into a police shooting, which has also closed the A20 in Hollingbourne.
Fire crews and police are at the scene of the blaze and have blocked the carriageway.
Traffic information site Inrix says all motorists are currently being held coastbound, and reports delays in the area.
Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
