Fabrizio Romano has taken to social media to provide a big transfer update on rumoured Tottenham target Douglas Luiz, who is now being heavily linked with a return to the Premier League.
Over the last few days, it has been reported that Tottenham are now actively trying to sell Yves Bissouma, who is not part of Thomas Frank’s plans at Spurs.
There is no doubt that the Danish coach would want to bring in another number six to replace Bissouma, with the Lilywhites needing reinforcements to cope with the rigours of Champions League football.
Tottenham have already lost out to Arsenal in the race for Christian Norgaard, who is a favourite of Frank, and it has emerged over recent days that the Lilywhites may be turning their attention to a Juventus star.
Douglas Luiz is expected to leave Juventus this summer
It was reported by TBR Football on Sunday that Tottenham had held talks with Juventus over a move for Luiz, who is keen to return to the Premier League.
The outlet claimed that Man United had also expressed interest in the former Aston Villa man following his struggles for game time under Igor Tudor last season.
Fabrizio Romano has now taken to social media to confirm that some Premier League clubs have approached the Bianconeri over the 27-year-old.
More consequentially, the journalist suggested that the Brazilian is expected to leave the Allianz Stadium this summer, just a year on from signing from Juve, and added that the midfielder is not speaking to Como.

Why Douglas Luiz could be just what Tottenham need
It has been claimed that Tottenham are prioritising signing experienced players this summer, which is a departure from the transfer policy they have had for the last two years.
Luiz may thus fit the profile that the Lilywhites are looking for to replace Bissouma, with the Brazilian having a vast amount of Premier League experience under his belt.
The former Villa man is unlikely to cost a fortune, given his predicament in Turin, and with Bissouma reportedly on Juventus’ radar, perhaps a swap deal could be on the cards.
