During its more than 25 years, The Sims has brought us a whole series of experiences through the complexities that are a life simulator. But at the same time, the complexity, or update in the intricate systems within the game, has brought us a series of bugs that also leave us with a mixture of laughter as well as questioning. After a recent update, the game has started to show problems with pregnancies, something that the community has already reported ahead of the launch of the game’s next expansion, Enchanted by Nature.
This update arrived at the beginning of July and brought with it several improvements to the base game. From interesting improvements such as the total renovation of the inventory and a new design for the Notebook, as well as improvements related to housing and, ironically, bug fixes. However, problems with the Sims pregnancy mechanics have also been reported in the EA Forums.
EA is already working to fix this
Fortunately, Electronic Arts is already aware of these problems, and through their official Discord, they have announced that they are already working on these issues.
“We are actively investigating issues related to Sim pregnancy, including missing pregnancy tests, baby bumps, & interactions,” they wrote on the Discord server. “As the team works towards resolutions for pregnant Sims, we’ve identified solutions to drag & drop for cleaning and the disappearing hobby board. These two issues alongside a few others will be resolved on July 10 with the release of Enchanted by Nature.”
