Kent’s oldest theme park has reopened a much-loved attraction after almost 10 years away.
People heading to Dreamland in Margate will now be able to ride the Wild River log flume, which features two “high-thrill drops” with plunges of 50ft and 30ft.

It was last seen at the park in 2016 and returns as the fairground celebrates its 105th birthday this year.
Guests at the park will be able to use nearby water guns to spray riders as they go past with coin-operated pistols.
Visitors can buy ponchos before boarding the ride if they want to avoid getting too wet.
The log flume will line up alongside the giant Big Wheel, Pirate Ship, Dodgems and Rock ‘N’ Roller roller coaster and a host of other attractions.
A Dreamland Spokesperson said: “This summer, we are delighted to welcome a brand new headline attraction to Dreamland’s ride lineup.

“The Wild River is a welcome return of the classic Log Flume to the park, and we can’t wait for guests to take the plunge!”
However, one of the site’s best-known attractions is set to remain closed.
The Scenic Railway was forced to shut last August after a ride came to a dramatic halt as a gaping hole appeared in the wooden tracks.
Passengers had to be escorted off Britain’s oldest rollercoaster, and the ride closed for the rest of the season.
Previously, a spokesperson told KentOnline: “Plans for the Scenic Railway will be confirmed further into the 2025 season.”
