A woman was airlifted to hospital after a “serious assault” saw forensics teams tape off a street to investigate.
The incident happened in Francis Road, Ashford, on Sunday morning.

Two arrests have been made with one man charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and criminal damage.
Sam Breeds, of Francis Road, Ashford, has been bailed to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on August 14.
A woman also arrested at the scene has been bailed pending further inquiries.
A local resident, who did not wish to be named, told KentOnline that screams could be heard on the street at about 8am.
They added: “Forensic teams and detectives were there until the afternoon.
“There was police tape in multiple locations.
“One taped off an alleyway to a shared garden, and one was taping off the path on the other side of the road, so it seems the incident started in the house and continued on the road.”
The injured woman is understood to have since been discharged from hospital.
A police spokeswoman said: “Kent Police was called at 8.51am on Sunday, July 6, to a report of a serious assault in progress on Francis Road, Ashford.
“Patrols attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service, and a woman was airlifted to a London hospital.
“Officers arrested a man and a woman at the scene in connection with the incident.
“The woman has since been bailed with conditions.”
