Although the Nintendo Switch 2 is available in the UK it’s not easy to get hold of unless you know exactly where to look.

Even before it launched, the Nintendo Switch 2 was proving very difficult to come by, with pre-orders routinely selling out across the UK the moment that they went live.

It’s been just over a month since launch day and, in an ideal world, the Switch 2 would be easier to get hold of, now that the hype has settled and Nintendo’s had time to refill its stock.

Unfortunately, the Switch 2 is still proving scarce at most of the major UK retailers, as well as Nintendo’s own website, but it’s not entirely impossible to find if you know where to look.

Here is what you need to know.

Where is the Nintendo Switch 2 in stock at the moment?

Your first port of call should be Amazon, which received new stock earlier today. It has both the Switch 2 on its own and the Mario Kart World bundle, which are at their usual asking prices of £395 and £430 respectively.

Amazon is also offering free delivery on both items and if you order the console now, it should arrive by the end of the week. The Mario Kart World bundle, though may not arrive until late August.

Very, which has been amongst the most reliable retailers for the Switch 2, has multiple Switch 2 bundles available right now, but they will likely sell out fast.

These are naturally more expensive, since they throw in extra accessories or an additional game, such as the upcoming Donkey Kong Bananza which launches next week, on July 17.

  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World – £429.99
  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World + Camera + Pro Controller – £555
  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World + Donkey Kong Bananza – £496
  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World + Pro Controller + 256GB SanDisk Micro SD Card – £553
  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World + Samsung Micro SD Card – £479
  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World + Street Fighter 6 – £479
  • Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World + The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom – £494
  • Nintendo Switch 2 + The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom + Donkey Kong Bananza – £525

Hit still has a little stock left too but, at the time of writing, it’s literally only two copies of the Mario Kart World bundle. The bundle is also priced at £439.99, making it slightly more expensive than usual.

Should you run out of the obvious options, we did spy some lesser-known alternatives that seem to have been overlooked.

The first is OnBuy.com, which has both the standard Switch 2 and the Mario Kart World bundle at their usual prices, and can have them delivered by the end of July with a 30 day return window.

Your second option is a site called Wonderprice. The standard Switch 2 is a little cheaper than usual at £392.99 while the Mario Kart World bundle is roughly £10 cheaper at £420.99.

We did spot one other retailer called Harvey Norman selling the Switch 2, but unfortunately they don’t deliver and of their three stores, two of them are in Belfast, Ireland and the other in Merry Hill, Dudley.

In a pinch, you can opt to place a back order with ShopTo, but you’ll obviously need to wait until it gets new stock in and not only is there no telling when that will happen, but you may not get it anyway, since you won’t be the only one waiting.
