Tottenham ‘closely monitoring’ 15-goal Serie A forward worth at least £39m

Tottenham Hotspur are considering making a move for an experienced Serie A forward, but they may have to contend with competition from two other Premier League sides for the player.

Over the last few days, it has become evident that Tottenham are pulling out all the stops to land Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United.

Spurs have already had three offers rejected by West Ham for Kudus, but the Lilywhites do not appear to be giving up on the Ghana international.

However, a fresh report has now suggested that Spurs still have an eye on a player they were linked with well before Thomas Frank’s arrival.

It emerged back in March that Tottenham had explored a deal to land Ademola Lookman, it turns out that the North Londoners are continuing to keep tabs on the Atalanta star.

Tottenham are one of three Premier League sides interested in Ademola Lookman

This report comes from Fichajes who say that the 27-year-old’s outstanding 2024-25 campaign, which saw him score 15 goals and provide 5 assists, has not gone unnoticed back in England.

The interest of multiple clubs has been piqued, including Tottenham Hotspur, who are now ‘closely monitoring his situation’ and could try and sign him over the coming months.

Lookman is also of interest to both Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa as his future at Bergamo looks to be in doubt.

The outlet claims that the former Everton man’s versatility and his experience in the Premier League make him an attractive target to the English trio.

How much would Ademola Lookman cost?

Fichajes say that Atalanta still view Lookman as an ‘important’ player but they will consider selling him if an attractive offer arrives.

With Premier League sides ‘willing to fight for him’, the Serie A club are open to accepting an offer in the region of €45m-€60m (£38.7m-£51.6m) for the Nigeria international.

While it is unclear what his next destination will be, the publication asserts that ‘everything points to Lookman returning to England’ this summer.
