Journalist Ben Jacobs has said that Tottenham Hotspur may need to pay more than they think to land Mohammed Kudus, with West Ham expected to make the deal expensive for their London rivals.
Tottenham have already had two offers rejected for Mohammed Kudus, the highest of which was worth £50m plus £5m in add-ons.
According to the update, West Ham informed the Lilywhites that they would not accept any offer that does not start with a six.
This ties in with other sources, which have suggested that the Hammers will accept a £60m offer from Spurs for Kudus as the East London club are desperate to raise funds quickly.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has said on The Done Deal Show that Tottenham still believe an offer of £60m will be enough for them to clinch the deal this summer.
However, Jacobs also thinks that West Ham could demand more from the Lilywhites for Kudus than they would if they sold the 24-year-old to any other club.
This is because Graham Potter’s men would prefer to avoid doing business with Tottenham Hotspur if possible, and Daniel Levy may have to pay an extra ‘Spurs tax’ to get the deal over the line.

While Tottenham appear to be the most advanced in the negotiations for the Ghanaian, they run the risk of the deal being hijacked, with two of their fiercest rivals also credited with an interest in the player.
Some sources over recent days have said that Chelsea are now in talks with West Ham over a deal for Kudus, with the Blues having had offers turned down already by the Hammers for the player.
Journalist Dean Jones also suggested that Arsenal could rival Tottenham for Kudus, with Spurs fans thus getting increasingly nervous about missing out on the former Ajax man.
