Tottenham supporters have been sent into a frenzy following reports that West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus is eyeing a move to north London this summer.
Over the past few weeks, reports have been circulating stating that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on bringing Mohammed Kudus of West Ham to north London.
Spurs have reportedly placed two bids for Kudus; however, both have been rejected by West Ham United, whose valuation has not been met.
It is claimed that the Hammers are looking for a bid that is in the £60 million mark (€70 million), after Spurs set a bid of £50 million plus £5 million in add-ons.
Spurs fans react as Mohammed Kudus wants a Tottenham move
David Ornstein has also handed a further update, stating that Kudus is looking to prioritise a move to north London this summer should he depart.
The West Ham man had a rather subpar display last season, scoring just five goals and assisting three in 32 matches.
Still, some Tottenham fans have been left delighted with the prospect of Kudus joining the club, while others believe that the Ghana international is not worth £60 million.
Following the latest report from Ornstein, the Lilywhite faithful have been quick to lend their voice to his report, with fans urging their club to get a deal done.
One fan said: “Just pay it!!!!!!” Another did not want to get too excited, saying: “Not believing anything until said player is signing the contract. I do not get overexcited anymore with gossip because I know somehow Levy will spoil it.”
One other fan believes that the winger’s head could still be turned, commenting: “No chance, once he sees what Chelsea are willing to pay he will change his mind.”
One supporter chimed: “Kudus is prioritising us 🤍 get him in.” Meanwhile, another fan is just keen on Tottenham completing a new signing: “Honestly at this point anyone will do, do not even like him but we just need something.”
Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United also eyeing Kudus
While this is a major boost for Tottenham, it is also understood that Spurs are not the only club in the race for Kudus.
It has been reported during the last week that Chelsea and Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Kudus as well.
Chelsea, for one, is considering a player swap deal for the West Ham man. Reports also claim that the Hammers are not looking to sell to Spurs, as they consider them a rival.
Arsenal are rumoured to be sniffing around as well, as there is a possibility the Gunners could step in to hijack the Mohammed Kudus deal from Tottenham.
