A pub has reopened under new management after a £200,000 refurb.
After being closed for a month for the revamp, Harps Inn in Minster, on the Isle of Sheppey, welcomed more than 200 punters into its new-look premises.

New boss George Davies, who is running the pub on behalf of Punch Pubs, unveiled it to customers on Monday.
The 46-year-old said: “It was really busy with around 200 people coming here, which shows it is really popular, so it’s exciting taking it on.
“There’s huge potential here as its in a perfect location, has a big car park and a lovely beer garden.
“It will be a food-led pub and we want to make it everyone’s number one choice to go to on the Island.
“Our food menu is based on British classics such as pies, roast dinners and burgers.”

The dad-of-two has 31 years’ experience working in the hospitality industry since his first job washing up.
He spent the first 13 years behind the scenes before heading to front of house.
From there, he became a manager – a role which he has been doing for almost two decades.
He ran the Jenny Wren in Sonora Fields, Sittingbourne, when it opened in 2010.
George, who is moving from his Halfway home into the pub, had been in the process of taking on a pub in Barking, London, but when that fell through, he was lucky enough to be offered the job running the Minster Road watering hole at the start of June.

Inside the Harps Inn the white and grey walls have been painted over with terracotta and olive green paint, while newly acquired wooden furniture – some of which has been brought from antique shops – is now populating the floor space.
Meanwhile, the walls have been decorated with plenty of ornaments, ranging from paintings to clocks and other knick-knacks.
The pub is hosting an official relaunch event on July 19 where it will have live music throughout the evening as well face painting, bouncy castle and giant garden games in the day.
