Volunteers and donations of game systems, games and controllers are wanted, a release says.
“Gaming is an enjoyable and stimulating activity that can help us meet new people and strengthen relationships with existing friends and family,” said executive director and project developer Martin Wyant.
Demonstration events are planned at public venues. Tutors will demonstrate how to play games on consoles and portable devices, such as phones and tablets. Gambling-related games are not part of Silver Gaming.
