The third season of ‘Squid Game’ is one of the summer blockbusters on Netflix, and Epic Games and Fortnite wanted to join the celebration with a new official collaboration. Starting Friday, June 27, Fortnite’s Reload mode will have a new map inspired by the popular series, and new themed outfits will also arrive in the store for both the participants of the lethal games and the pink jumpsuit-wearing guards who preserve their integrity with terrible brutality.
Fortnite Reload receives a new ‘Squid Game’ map: that’s right, and these are all its zones
As part of a themed event to celebrate the premiere of the third and final season of ‘Squid Game’, Fortnite Reload will receive a new themed map inspired by the series, as revealed on its official website. It’s a completely revamped map, dubbed ‘Squid Grounds’, which adds locations we’ve seen in the Netflix opus, such as the terrifying Red Light, Green Light playground:

Remember that this event takes place in Reload mode, which is the mode for more frantic matches where there are respawns, and not in the larger and main modes Battle Royale or Zero Build. That is, the normal map is not replaced. These are all the locations available in Squid Grounds:
- Affluent Arrivals
- Costly Condos
- Designer Docks
- Hectic Hedges
- Manager’s Meals
- Phoney Crossroads
- Player’s Power
- Red Greens
- Square Meals
- The Labyrinth
Perhaps the most striking area is the central part, called The Labyrinth. This is the stretch of stairs and all kinds of nooks and crannies, decorated with pastel colors that we have seen in the series, which served as an itinerary for the participants to the different and lethal tests in which they took part.

For now, it will be available during launch weekend and will replace the Oasis map when the map rotation resumes on June 30 at 7:00 AM ET. The map itself is surprisingly accurate to the environments we’ve seen in the series, which will delight fans.

Of course, it would be no fun to play this map without the official outfits of the series. Of course: unfortunately, there are none of specific characters, but they are generic of the participants and guards. The outfits of the participants in the games have limited customization in the form of the player number and the blue circle or the red cross, which determines whether they voted to stay in the game or leave it. Not that it’s a big deal, but the detail is appreciated.
