The Anbernic RG35XX H remains a popular option for retro gamers. In response, Game Console has started selling the XF35H with broadly the same features as Anbernic’s 3.5-inch gaming handheld but at a significantly cheaper price.
White label gaming handheld manufacturer Game Console has returned with another that leans heavily on the design of an already well-established competitor. For instance, Game Console offered up the M21 in 2023 with more than a passing resemblance to the Powkiddy RGB20S. More recently, the company aped the Powkiddy RGB30 with the R46S.
Now, Game Console has returned its attention to Anbernic, which has seemingly enjoyed great success with its RG35XX series. To that end, the company has just released the RG35XX Pro that capitalises on older models like the RG35XX Plus. By contrast, Game Console has gone after the RG35XX H (curr. $71.99 on Amazon) with the XF35H, which can currently be found on Alibaba ranging between $26.50 and $36.50.
As Retro Dead Fred notes, Game Console has opted for the Rockchip RK3326 and 1 GB of RAM. Predictably, the XF35H has a 3.5-inch IPS display that resolves at 640 x 480 pixels with a 4,000 mAh battery also onboard. Some unusual design decisions exist though, such as the positioning of its start/select buttons and its circular-shaped L2/R2 buttons. At the time of publication, the XF35H is available in five colours with 64 GB or 128 GB microSD cards.
