DraftKings has introduced a new feature aimed at helping players better manage their gaming activity with the launch of My Budget Builder, a customizable tool designed to set spending limits and reminders across the company’s suite of betting and gaming products.
My Budget Builder allows users to establish personalized budgets covering deposit amounts, total wagers, maximum bet sizes, losses, time spent, and contest participation. The feature is available through the DraftKings Responsible Gaming Center online and on the DraftKings app.
After walking through a guided setup, players can review a summary of their chosen parameters before confirming limits or reminders for a specific duration, such as daily, weekly, or monthly periods. While players can lower these limits at any time, any increase requires waiting until the preset timeframe expires.
“My Budget Builder is a new kind of Responsible Gaming tool—intuitive, proactive, and personalized,” said Lori Kalani, Chief Responsible Gaming Officer at DraftKings. “It reflects our ongoing commitment to creating fun, enjoyable environments for our players. By enhancing how players engage with limit-setting, we are providing another resource that players can use to help them play responsibly.”
DraftKings said this latest rollout builds on its existing Responsible Gaming initiatives, which focus on accessibility, education, and developing practical resources for users.
My Budget Builder complements the company’s My Stat Sheet feature, launched in 2024, which offers players detailed insights into their gaming behavior by tracking metrics like time spent, deposits and withdrawals, contest entries, and overall outcomes. According to DraftKings, My Stat Sheet has logged over 20 million visits since it was introduced.
