A takeaway branded “the OG Britain fried chicken restaurant” is set to open its first Kent branch.
Miss Millie’s signage has appeared in Canterbury, where it is poised to take over the former Pavers unit in the city centre.

A refit is underway at the High Street site and job listings for managerial roles have already gone up.
An exact opening date is yet to be confirmed.
Its menu centres around chicken, with box meals, burgers and tenders accompanied by fries, milkshakes and desserts.
With 12 branches across the UK, it will be the chain’s first in Kent.
Arriving in Britain in 1988 with its first store in Bristol, Miss Millie’s roots date back to 1965 when founder Harry Latham opened the country’s first ever fried chicken shop in Preston, guided by KFC’s Colonel Sanders.
Twenty-three years later, he and his daughters Ann, Sheila, Kerry, and Kate started their own brand, with the name being inspired by the Colonel’s daughter, Mildred.
In the time since, it has gone national with stores opening as far away as Edinburgh – though six of the sites are in their founding town.
