Arsenal submit offer to sign former Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate

Arsenal are now pushing forward with a move to sign a former Tottenham Hotspur winger, and this development could end up handing a major transfer boost to the Lilywhites.

The Gunners have already won a decisive transfer victory over their fierce rivals this summer, with Arsenal on the verge of beating Tottenham to Christian Norgaard.

It has also emerged over recent days that Arsenal are now advancing on a move to sign Spurs target Eberechi Eze, who is thought to be ready to move to the Emirates.

It now turns out that Mikel Arteta’s men are now pushing ahead with a move to land a former Spurs youngster, who was tipped to achieve big things during his time at Hotspur Way.

Arsenal have submitted an offer for ex-Tottenham Noni Madueke

Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has now taken to social media to reveal that the Gunners have made an offer for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, who could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

The winger came through the ranks of the Tottenham Hotspur academy but left the North Londoners in 2018 for PSV Eindhoven in search of first-team opportunities.

His impressive performances for the Dutch giants saw Chelsea bring him back to England two years ago, and it now turns out that Arsenal are looking to take the youngster to the Emirates.

Ironically, Noni Madueke has also been linked with a return to Tottenham this summer.

Madueke was seen by many at Spurs as a guaranteed first-team prospect, but as fate would have it, he may end up playing senior football for two of Tottenham’s fiercest rivals before donning the Lilywhite shirt.

Why Arsenal’s interest in Madueke is both good news and bad news for Spurs

If Arsenal do secure Madueke, that could potentially make them less likely to bid for Eze, possibly opening the door for Tottenham to secure the Crystal Palace star.

However, it has been reported over recent days that Chelsea remain interested in Mohammed Kudus, but they would have to sell some players before they can make an offer for the West Ham man.

If the Blues get a decent fee from Arsenal for Madueke, they could potentially try and hijack Tottenham’s pursuit of Mohammed Kudus, which has been heating up over the last 24 hours.
