Two men arrested after ‘knives brandished’ following car crash

A pair of men have been arrested after reportedly brandishing weapons following a car crash.

Police were called to Wallis Avenue in Park Wood, Maidstone, at about 4pm on Wednesday (June 25).

It came following reports that a black Mazda 6 had collided with a red Seat.

Drivers from both vehicles then became involved in a confrontation, where it is alleged threats were made with knives.

No one was injured following the incident.

Within two hours, by 5.40pm, officers had arrested two men on suspicion of affray.

They have since been bailed pending further investigation while inquiries remain ongoing to find other suspects.
