A tunnel remains closed as emergency repairs are carried out following a car fire.
Witnesses described hearing shouts for help as the vehicle burst into flames after crashing in the Western Undercliff Tunnel on the A299, Ramsgate, on Friday.

Emergency services were called and one person was treated by paramedics, but thankfully, no one was seriously injured.
The blaze happened at shortly before 8pm, but caused damage to a junction box in the tunnel, leading to a loss of power.
Highway teams are continuing to fix damage on the busy route, which is blocked in both directions.
Footage taken at the scene on Friday showed the vehicle well ablaze in the middle of the carriageway.
An eyewitness told KentOnline they saw at least two people “covered in blood” as the car became engulfed in flames.
“A man had blood all over his face and complained about back pain, clearly in pain,” the 37-year-old said.
“There was a woman with blood on her face and two children in the car.”
A police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 7.55pm following a collision in Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour Approach tunnel.
“A car involved caught fire, and the collision also caused damage to a junction box in the tunnel, leading to a loss of power.
“Officers assisted Kent Fire and Rescue Service at the scene. There were no serious injuries reported.”

Fire crews used Compressed Air Foam Systems to put out the flames.
The cause of the inferno is not yet known.
