With the Nintendo Switch 2 finally here, one of the year’s most anticipated games is Donkey Kong Bananza. A new take on 3D Donkey Kong in over 20 years, it’s on my (and many other folks) shortlist, especially since it’s one on the only Switch 2 exclusives we know about. July also sees the release of some smaller titles that have garnered attention, as well as a handful of great looking remakes and remasters. Read on for our July 2025 games guide.
