A house has been boarded up by police after neighbours endured “repeated noise, drug-taking and disorder”.
The property in Lester Road, Chatham, was at the centre of anti-social behaviour and has now been sealed off for three months following a court order.

It comes after officers were repeatedly called to reports of fights, noise and criminal damage at the terraced home.
On Thursday (June 26), they went to Medway Magistrates’ Court where they applied for and were granted the order.
Anyone found going in and out of the home could be arrested and face further action.
The same day, police visited the house and locked it up to prevent anyone from breaching the rules.

PC Matthew Hoffmeister said: “It is not right that people living in this street should have to put up with repeated noise, drug-taking and disorder, so we have taken this step to protect them.
“We are committed to doing everything we can to tackle antisocial behaviour and we will apply for further orders at this property and others, if necessary, as part of our neighbourhood policing work.”
