A young child was taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
The nine-year-old girl was injured at around 9pm on Monday, June 23 in Oak Tree Avenue at the junction with Mangravet Avenue in Maidstone.

It comes after reports that a vehicle collided with her as she crossed the road, with the driver initially stopping before leaving the scene in the direction of Grove Road.
The force said: “The girl was taken to hospital by South East Coast Ambulance Service and is not thought to have suffered any serious injuries.”
“Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought after a young child was struck by a car in Maidstone which then drove from the scene.”
Officers are urging anyone with information to contact them and are asking drivers with dashcam, as well as residents in the area with doorbell and CCTV cameras, to check for any important footage.
The vehicle was described as a black hatchback, possibly Peugeot or Vauxhall, and may have a registration plate starting LY08.
