Get a Glimpse of Routine With the New Cinematic Trailer for ‘The Midnight Walkers’ [Watch]

Oneway Ticket Studio has released a new cinematic trailer for its upcoming zombie-infested extraction shooter The Midnight Walkers. Due to launch into Steam Early Access in Q4 2025 and on consoles in 2026, the new trailer showcases the zombie-slaying routine of one of the game’s titular Midnight Walkers: Kill, sleep, loot, repeat.

The Midnight Walkers is set in the grimy floors of the Liberty Grand Center mega-complex, where players will fight their way through zombies, scavenging for gear and loot, before attempting to escape to safety in this PvPvE and PvE experience. You’ll risk it all against the zombies hordes, as well as rival survivors, and even the countdown-triggered poison gas system.

The game is playable either solo or in a trio, where you’ll explore various floors such as shopping malls, hospitals, and casinos—each with its own challenges. Survival and escape requires careful planning on your part. Successfully escaping will allow you to store the gear and items you’ve secured in your personal stash, or use them in your next run. Die, and you lose everything.

As mentioned, in addition to dealing with roving bands of zombies, you’ll have to compete against other players for loot as you scour the shopping mall, hospital, and casino floors. And if that’s not enough pressure, you’ll also be having to deal with the poison gas, which spreads across random floors every few minutes.

Luckily, you’re armed with a variety of weapons. Bladed weapons such as the Dagger and Katana deliver rapid strikes, but you’ll also have access to handguns, and melee weapons such as the Sledgehammer. You’ve also got the customary shotgun, and even weapons like the bow and bolt-action rifle to pick off faraway foes.

You’ll need all the firepower you can get, as the zombies in Liberty Grand Center are varied as they are deadly. Slow-moving Walkers and Crawlers are easy to avoid, while Runners, are quick to ambush inattentive survivors. You’ll also be facing off against mutated variants, including those that spit acid, and gargantuan behemoths that create devastating shockwaves with their attacks.
